Bernhard Kunkler lives in Freiburg and works as a freelance illustrator for advertising, magazine and book publishers.

He is particularly interested in the versatile possibilities of expression through collage. "Working with this means playing, experimenting, telling stories, solving complex tasks."
For more than 20 years, Bernhard Kunkler has been dedicating himself with great success to the design of annual reports, for which he usually translates themes specified by the client into creative and artistic work, always in close cooperation with the company.
His illustrations for Marquard & Bahls AG's annual reports have received international recognition: he was awarded four gold, two silver and one bronze medals from the ARC (Annual Report Competition worldwide) in New York, as well as the Grand Award and the' Best of Show' award.
