Jean-Christian Knaff

About

The ‘Multiplicity’ series covers a wild range of obsessional thoughts I had about people/characters as a thriving crowd, interfering – or not – with themselves, sometimes losing their identity to the benefit of the whole.

The series' Elephant and Monkey' was created after a lengthy stay in India and is deeply and emotionally inspired by 16th century Indian art and set in a contemporary context of man-made genetic deconstruction.
