Maarten Rijnen is a Dutch Illustrator. Maarten’s work is versatile. He uses a variety of different styles and techniques. Every project needs its own specific aproach. This attitude creates a breeding ground for new styles and new ways of using tools. Also the Mediums vary, from magazines, to packaging, cartoons, portraits, pictograms, icons, logo’s, instructions infographics, isometric views, maps etc.

'Entering the process of creation is always a challenge and one of the most fulfilling experiences in life. Creating things that weren’t there before and surprising yourself because you never really know what the outcome will be. This also means that a good understanding of a briefing and working together closely with the client is crucial in many cases'.
